Qualification : Must possess a B.Sc., Degree in Geology from any recognized University of India established or incorporated by or under a Central or a State sector an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission provided that candidates having Practical experience for a period of not less than two years in the investigation of mineral deposits and geological mapping or mining or underground water resources

Scale of pay : Rs.29,760 -80,930/-
Fee : Applicant must pay Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty Only) towards application processing fee and Rs 120/- (Rupees one hundred and twenty only) towards Examination Fee.
Mode of Payment of Fee:
i) The Fee mentioned in the above paragraph is to be paid On-Line using Payment Gateway using Net Banking/ Credit card / Debit Card. The list of Banks providing service for the purpose of online remittance of Fee will be appended separately.
ii) The fee once remitted shall not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Failure to pay the examination fee, application fee will entail total rejection of application.
iii) IPOs / Demand Drafts are not accepted.
Centres For The Written Examination : The Examination will be held at Vijayawada (or) Guntur only. However the Commission reserves the right to allot the applicant to any centre or duly creating a new center for administrative reasons of examination depending on the availability of the resources like centres / systems.
Procedure of Selection : Incase screening test is conducted as referred above, based on the Merit in screening test, candidates will be picked up in the ration 50 per one notified post for the main examination, in order of General Merit. In case where no screening test is held, all the eligible applicants would be allowed to appear for the main examination.
