Selection Procedure :

1. The selection process for the post of AE (Civil)-Trainee, A.O. /A.M.-(F&A)-Trainee, Ad.OJA.M. (MO-Trainee, Medical Officer, Welfare Officer-Trainee, Programmer-Trainee, involves online computer based test (CBT) of 2 Hours duration followed by interview.

2. Computer based test shall comprise of 100 objective type questions of 100 marks with Multiple Choice answers consisting of Part I - 80 questions related to professional subject and Part IT - 20 questions to judge the general awareness and reasoning.

3. Based on merit of computer based test, maximum three times candidates against one available vacancy in each category for every post code shall be called for interview, which shall be of 15 marks. The document verification and interview shall be done at Raipur. The date of interview shall not be changed generally.

The Chhattisgarh State was formed according the Madhya Pradesh Reorganization Act 2000. The President of India gave his consent to this Act on the 25th August 2000. The Government of India subsequently set the 1st November 2000 as the day on which the State of Madhya Pradesh would be bifurcated into State of Chhattisgarh and State of Madhya Pradesh.  Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board was formed in accordance with the Section 5 of the Electricity Supply Act 1948 as per the Notification published in the gazette of the Government of Chhattisgarh dated 15th November 2000. Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (CSEB) became functional w.e.f. 01.12.2000. Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board has been reorganized into following five companies in accordance with the provisions contained in the Section 131-134 of Electricity Act 2003 by the Govt. of Chhattisgarh vide Notification dated 19.12.2008.
