Assistant. Executive Engineer/ Junior Engineer Jobs opportunity in Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar).
Assistant. Executive Engineer (Electrical)
No. of post : 01
Qualification : i) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree plus 03 year relevant experience in the Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-. OR Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/Institute with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree plus 08 years relevant experience, out of which, at least 5 year should be in the Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-. ii) Experience in handling construction & construction management related software, like Computer-aided Design (CAD) etc. Desirable: i) Experience in handling large construction projects. ii) Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent is a must.

Junior Engineer (PH)

Department of Chemistry: (No. of Posts : 01) Essential : Master Degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 55 % marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with one year relevant experience. OR Bachelors Degree (four years) in Instrumentation or equivalent qualification in appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from recognize University/ Institute with two years relevant experience. OR Bachelors Degree in science with major in chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with three years relevant experience. Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S Word, Excel ,Power- Point or equivalent is a must. Desirable: (1) Good academic record throughout . (2) Experience of working in Chemistry laboratory / Chemistry instrumentation laboratory in an academic institute.

2. Central Research Facilities: (No. of Posts: 01) (i) SEM, XRD Laboratory: Essential : M.Sc. with a minimum of 55 % marks in qualifying degree with at least 01 years experience in working with sophisticated instruments especially X-Ray Diffractometer and/or Scanning Electron Microscope. The experience should include operation and maintenance of equipments. OR Bachelor degree (Four years) in engineering with a minimum of 55% marks with at least 02 years experience in working with sophisticated instruments especially X-Ray Diffractometer and/or Scanning Electron Microscope. The experience should include operation and maintenance of equipments. Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S Word, Excel ,Power- Point or equivalent is a must. Desirable: Applicants having working experience in National Academic Institutes/Research and Development Laboratories.

Desirable : One year working experience in micro/ nano fabrication laboratory or fabrication of solar cell/ electronic devices in an industry.
