Job Description: Technology Project Manager – Digital Transformation
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Project Manager to lead and deliver digital
transformation initiatives across core enterprise platforms including SAP Ariba, Salesforce,
SAP PPDS and Anaplan. The role requires strong project management expertise, deep
understanding of pharma industry processes, and the ability to align technology solutions
with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
Drive end-to-end delivery of digital transformation projects across procurement, supply
chain, sales, and financial planning domains.
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business
goals.
Manage cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and system
integrators.
Technology Implementation
Oversee deployment and integration of SAP Ariba (procurement), Salesforce (CRM), SAP
PPDS & Distribution (supply chain planning & execution), and Anaplan (financial &
operational planning).
Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across platforms.
Drive adoption of best practices in system configuration, testing, and validation.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, and external partners.
Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and executive updates.
Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for senior
stakeholders.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure projects adhere to pharma regulatory requirements (GxP, FDA, EMA guidelines).
Maintain documentation for audits, validations, and compliance reporting.
Implement risk management strategies and change control processes.
Performance & Value Delivery
Track KPIs and ROI of digital transformation initiatives.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
Drive continuous improvement and scalability of implemented solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.
Experience:
8–12 years in IT project management, with at least 5 years in pharma or life sciences.
Proven track record of managing large-scale ERP/CRM/Planning system implementations.
Technical Expertise (preferred):
SAP Ariba (Procurement workflows, supplier collaboration).
Salesforce (CRM, customer engagement, pharma sales processes).
SAP PPDS & Distribution (production planning, supply chain optimization).
Anaplan (financial forecasting, demand planning).
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation.
