Assistant Geologist, Class-II / Manager Grade I, Class-II recruitment in Gujarat PSC

Assistant Geologist

Qualification : (1) Possess a post graduate degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Geological Science or Geo Exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Marine Geology or Earth Science and Resource management or Petroleum Geo sciences or Petroleum Exploration or Geochemistry or Geological Technology or Geophysical Technology with minimum 55% marks obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956
Experience:- Have about three years experience on the post not below the rank of Mines Supervisor, Class III in the subordinate service of the Commissionerate of Geology and Mining, Gujarat State; or Have about three years experience in the field of mining or mineral administration or mineral legislation or mineral exploration in Government or Government Undertakings Board or Corporation or Limited Company established by Law in India or Mining organization on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Mines Supervisor, Class III, in the subordinate service of the Commissionerate of Geology and Mining, Gujarat State. (3) Possess basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. (4) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Qualification : Possess a degree in Hotel Management and catering obtained from National Council of Hotel Management or obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government; or Possess a Diploma in Hotel Management and/or Catering Technology obtained from any recognized institute or obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government;
Experience : Have about Two years experience on the post not below the rank of Manager Grade II, Class III in the subordinate service of the Roads and Buildings Department; or Have about Two years experience in the field of Hotel Management or Catering in Government or Local Bodies or Government Undertaking Board or Corporation or Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013 or the private or public Sector hotels ranking in two star or more on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Manager Grade II, Class III in the subordinate service of the Roads and Buildings Department; (3) Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. (4) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
