Assistant Geologist job recruitment in Assam Public Service Commission (Assam PSC) in the Directorate of Geology and Mining, Assam.
Number of Post : 11 (eleven) nos. (Open Category-02, OBC/MOBC-05, SC –01, STP-02, STH-01)
Essential Qualification: At least second class master degree (M.Sc.) in Geology or equivalent degree in applied Geology from an university or an institution recognized by the Govt.
Scale of Pay: Pay Band-4, Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- Grade Pay- Rs. 12700/-
Age: A candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 43 years as on 01/01/2017
Written Test / Interview: If the number of applications received is large, the i. Commission may short-list the number of candidates either on the basis of their marks obtained in the qualifying academic examination required for the post in terms of advertisement. OR ii. By holding Screening test (Multiple choice objective type written examination) which will be notified in due course.
