Responsibilities may also include:
Set up: Set tables, chairs, linens, and decorations for the event 
Greet: Welcome guests and provide menus and drink options 
Take orders: Accurately record orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar 
Serve: Deliver food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner 
Clear: Remove dishes, glassware, and silverware from tables after the meal 
Clean: Clean the banquet hall and tables after the event 
Help guests: Respond to guest requests and concerns in a friendly and timely manner 
Assist others: Help other staff members and departments with side work, such as cleaning, stocking, and folding silverware 
Maintain sanitation: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines

  • Physical Stamina: Able to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays, equipment, or boxes.
