Experience:

5-10 years - IT operations

Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (MS Exchange, Active Directory, and other Windows-based systems),current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring

Job Description:

• Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, processes, and best practices for the organization.
• Running regular checks on network and data security
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
• A firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
• Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
• Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
• Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
• Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
• Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
