Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Land Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will support our senior land surveyor for land surveying projects by assisting in the collection, analysis, and preparation of survey data. Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in land surveying or a related field is a plus but not required.
Proficiency with surveying equipment and software (e.g., AutoCAD, GPS technology).
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the lead surveyor in conducting field surveys, including boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys.
Operate surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors.
Collect and record accurate field data and measurements.
Assist in the preparation of survey reports, maps, and other documentation.
Conduct site visits to gather data and ensure accuracy of survey results.
