Selection process:

 i) For the post of Assistant Manager (Civil) (post code-E01), Assistant Manager(Electrical) (post code-E02), Assistant Manager (S&T) (post code-E03), Assistant Manager/Architect (post code-E04) , Assistant Manager(Operations)(post code-E05), & Assistant Manager(IT) (post code-E06), the selection methodology will comprise two -stage process – Written Test followed by Medical examination in Executive( Technical) category.

ii)For the post of Assistant Manager/Finance(post code-E07), Assistant Manager/HR(post code-E08), Assistant Company Secretary(post code-E09), Assistant Manager(Public Relations)(post code-E10) , the selection methodology will comprise two -stage process – Written Test followed by Medical examination in Executive( Non Technical) category.

 iii)For the post of Station Controller cum Train Operator (post code-NE01) and Customer Relations Assistant (post code-NE02), the selection methodology will comprise three-stage process – Written Test , Psycho Aptitude Test, followed by Medical examination in Aye-one (A-1) category. iv)For the post of Jr.Engineers, (post codes NE03, NE04,NE05 ) the selection methodology will comprise two-stage process – Written Test followed by Medical examinations in Aye-Three (A-3) category .

v)For the post of Office Assistant(HR) , Account Assistant & Public Relation Assistant, (post codes NE06, NE 07 , NE08 ) the selection methodology will comprise two-stage process – Written Test followed by Medical examination in Cee-One (C-1) category.

vi)For the post of Maintainer (post codes NE09, NE10 & NE11), the selection methodology will comprise two-stage process – Written Test followed by Medical examination in Bee-One (B-1) category.

Written Test: Objective type Computer Based Test (CBT) for all the post will be held on the one or more days. Question paper will be bilingual i.e in English and Hindi. It will consist of multiplechoice objective type questions on General English to judge the knowledge of English language, General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and/ knowledge of the discipline/trade. (i) There will be a total of 140 questions for categories E-01 to E-10 & from NE-01 to NE-08. Each carrying equal marks. (ii) There will be a total of 100 question for categories from NE-9 to NE-11. Each carrying equal marks. There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. The Paper shall be of 2 hours duration.

Note :LMRC reserves the right to introduce additional phase of written examination in compelling circumstances for screened candidates on the basis of performance in written test and decision regarding calling such number of candidates shall be decided by LMRC only.

Examination Centers. : Computer based Test(CBT) will be held at Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Jhansi, Bareilly, Gautam Buddha Nagar(Noida), Greater Noida , Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Moradabad and Muzaffarnagar or any other city of U.P. (as per requirement).

 

Cost of Training &Surety Bond:

i)The candidate selected for post under Executive cadre & Non executive will have to deposit cost of Training (indicated below) through demand draft in favor of “Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation Limited” before joining in LMRC . The Training Fees will be refunded after completion of three years service excluding LWP/Extraordinary leave.

E01 to E10 - Executive posts - Rs 80,000 + GST

NE01 - Station Controller- Rs 35,000 + GST

NE02, NE03,NE 04, NE05 - CRA, JE(Civil)JE(Electrical), JE(S&T) -Rs 30,000+ GST

NE06, NE07, NE08- Office Assistant(HR), Account Assistant, Public Relation Assistant-Rs 30,000+GST

NE09, NE10 & NE11 - Maintainers- Rs 20,000+GST

ii)The candidate selected for post under Executive cadre will also have to execute a Surety Bond of Rs. 3,00,000 plus GST to serve the corporation for a minimum period of three years. (exclusive of the period in which he remained on LWP or EOL) and also a three months prior notice plus GST , will be required before seeking resignation from the corporation.

iii)The candidates selected for posts in Non-executive Cadre except Maintainer will have to execute a surety bond of Rs.1,50,000/- with GST to serve the corporation for a minimum period of three years (exclusive of the period in which he remained on LWP or EOL) and also a three months prior notice plus GST , will be required before seeking resignation from the corporation.

 iv) The candidates selected for the post of Maintainer will have to execute a surety bond of Rs 75,000/- with GST to serve the corporation for a minimum period of three years (exclusive of the period in which he remained on LWP or EOL) and also a three months prior notice plus GST , will be required before seeking resignation from the corporation.

 

Training & Probation: The selected candidates on appointment will be on Probation for a period of two years (including period of training), where they will undergo intensive training for prescribed duration. The Corporation has the right to enhance or reduce the training period at its discretion for any or all the trainees. During the probation period, candidates may be required to pass various examinations. The service of the candidate during probation period can be terminated by the corporation if the performance of candidate is found to be unsatisfactory, in accordance with the terms & conditions of offer of appointment. The probation period will exclude LWP or EOL. After successful completion of probation period depending upon their satisfactory performance, candidates are likely to be confirmed in LMRC on permanent basis.
