Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:


Book-keeping and Taxation


  • Maintain the book of accounts in Tally with data to be consolidated from WMS
  • Ensure billing and receivables, through timely inflow and outflow of payments
  • Create and issue invoices, expense statements and other docs as required
  • Coordinate with tax advisors, banks and accountants to ensure timely and efficient book-keeping.
  • Finalization of accounts
  • Managing payments towards TDS, Professional Tax independently
  • Managing payments towards GST, Income Tax, PF etc. with the help of Company consultant partners
  • Maintain budgets and ensure financial health of the company as per the targets for the year
  • Efficient Fund & Treasury Management
  • ROC Compliance & coordination with ROC consultants on a timely basis
  • Data preparation & attending to Scrutiny Cases
  • Coordinating with Auditors for Statutory Audit & DD


MIS and Filing


  • Prepare current worksheets for MIS as required, using Microsoft Excel
  • Prepare MIS statements (using Tally) including budgeting, monthly P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Maintain cash flow statements and monitor financial dashboards


Qualification and Education


  • Chartered Accountant / Inter CA with 2-3 years of progressive experience Post Qualification.
  • At least 2 years should be spent working with a company in the Finance department (not with a CA firm/tax firm). Candidates with experience working in a service /e-commerce company/agency will be preferred
  • Prior experience in working with ROC and Audit Consultants for all Audit & DD for Fund raise is critical
  • Must be proficient in Excel

  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information: one on one, small groups, executive management, and other employees in the organization

  • High maturity in managing conflicting issues and motivating people
  • A high level of independence and responsibility
