Overall responsible for quality of products produced and supplied from PIL Guwahati.
Ensure Raw materials and packing materials accepted are meeting PIL specification.
Investigation of no-conformances and identify root cause, implement CAPA to prevent recurrence.
Robust online and offline inspection to identify defects, prevent them leading to customer complaints.
Training & development of team members to achieve continuous improvement.
Compliance to ISO and Statutory requirements applicable for quality at plant.
Updating & maintaining standards of raw materials, finished products, reference samples.
Perform ambient condition stability studies and escalate deviations.
Collaboration with R&D for new product ensures all products transferred are right first time.
Collaboration with packaging development for new product or new SKU introduction ensures smooth transition.
Support corporate QA for implementation of quality and compliance strategy.
RM & PM vendor audits specific to PIL Guwahati.
Customer site visit to resolve complaints and investigation to identify root cause and provide CAPA
Conduct robust internal audit and identify potential gaps, provide support to close the audit observations.
Responsible for terminal inspection for the product exported outside India.
Laboratory management to ensure all procedures, process and calibrations are updated.
Conduct FMEA to identify high risk activities & implement Poke Yoke system for mistake proofing.
