We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Assistant Manager Service Officer to oversee branch banking operations and drive liabilities growth (savings accounts, current accounts, fixed deposits, etc.). The role involves ensuring seamless customer service, compliance with banking regulations, and achieving branch targets for liabilities products.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary point of contact for customer queries related to accounts, transactions, and banking services.
Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints and escalations.
Guide customers through onboarding processes (account opening, KYC, etc.).
Promote and cross-sell liabilities products (savings accounts, current accounts, fixed deposits, etc.).
Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for account openings and deposit mobilization.
Analyze customer needs to recommend tailored banking solutions.
Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, audit requirements, and internal policies.
Oversee cash management, cheque clearance, and daily reconciliation.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Train and mentor junior staff (e.g., tellers, customer service executives).
Assist the Branch Manager in daily operations and strategic initiatives.
Participate in customer outreach programs (e.g., campaigns, events).
Generate leads for liabilities products through referrals and networking.
Essential:
Strong customer service orientation.
Basic understanding of banking products, especially liabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and banking software (e.g., Finacle, Core Banking Solutions).
Preferred:
Internship experience in branch banking or sales.
Certification in banking/finance (e.g., NISM, JAIIB).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
