Essential Qualifications/Experience:
1. Assistant Professors:- Essential a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Anaesthesia) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. Experience 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree of MD.
ii) Biochemistry : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Biochemistry) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. Experience : 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the concerned/ allied subject of specialty after obtaining the degree of MD.
iii) Hospital Administration Essential : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MD in Hospital Administration of Indian University/Institute or MHA of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. d. MHA of two years should have one year additional experience in Hospital Administration. Experience : 3 year teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Hospital Administration after acquiring the essential qualifications
iv) Internal Medicine : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Internal Medicine) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. Experience: 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.
v) Orthopaedics : a. to develop patterns of teaching in postgraduate medical education in as
many branches as possible and attempt to produce specialists in several
