Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II or the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956). (ii) Post-graduate degree in the concerned speciality or Super speciality mentioned in Section –A Schedule-VI or equivalent recognized DNB qualification awarded by National Board of Examination.
Essential Experience : (i) At least 03 years teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Lecturer/Tutor/Registrar/Demonstrator/Senior Resident after the requisite post graduate degree qualification.

Qualification: (i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part – II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956 and (ii) Post Graduate degree in any medical specialty. Essential Experience: 2 years teaching & research experience as Clinical Psychologist in a Mental Hospital, Child Guidance Clinic or Psychiatric Department of a General Hospital/ recognized teaching Institution. The Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH) was
initially set up as Tezpur Lunatic Asylum under the British Government
in April, 1876. In 1922 the hospital was rechristened as Tezpur Mental
Hospital. With the progress in the field of psychiatry across the globe,
steps were also taken to develop this hospital with modern facilities.
Major construction activities were started in 1926. A private firm,
“Zardine Menezes Co.,” was hired from Calcutta for undertaking the
upgradation works. By the end of 1932 the hospital accommodation rose up
to 700 beds.
