Designation: Assistant Professor - Clinical Psychology
NIMH/PROJ/MOHFW/NKC/Various/NOTIF./2022-23
Project:
- “Apex Coordinating Centre for the National Tele Mental Health Program (Short title: National Apex Coordinating Centre for Tele MANAS)”
Number of Posts:
- 01 (one)
Salary:
- Rs. 1,30,000/- per month consolidated
Essential Qualification:
1. MA/MSc degree in Psychology from a recognized University or equivalent
2. MPhil in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification from an Institution / University recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
3. PhD in Clinical Psychology
Experience:
- 03 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree (PhD) as above.
Additional Desirable qualifications:
1. Qualifications obtained from reputed institutions.
2. Academic honors such as University Gold Medal, grants, and fellowships.
3. Clinical and/or research experience in Telemedicine and/or Tele- training
4. Experience of working with multidisciplinary research teams
5. Indexed scientific/research publications
Position involves:
1.Training of tier-1 counsellors, conducting TOTs for various cadres of in mental health screening, telephonic counselling, supervising the clinical psychologists
2. Mentoring/monitoring of state/UT level Tele MANAS cells
3. High quality scientific research to assess the need, efficacy, and effectiveness of tele-mental health delivery
4. Helping Persons with Mental Illness (PWMI) and other users of Tele MANAS in domains of their expertise.
5. Development of curated content of psychology modules and manuals for service delivery.
Age Limit:
- 50 years
Duration of Project:
- 05 years
- (Initial appointment is for a period of 6 months extendable based on performance)
