Assistant Professor  job opportunities in National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur on contract basis

No. of Posts : 08 (UR-04, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)-02, SC-01, ST-01)

Department : Computer Science and Engineering & Electronics and Communication Engineering  

Qualification :  As prescribed in Schedule ‘A’. In this schedule preceding degrees means: First class in both B.Tech. degree and M.Tech. degree. Candidates are required to go through the details of posts and instructions available on the website carefully before applying to ensure their eligibility for the post. 

Pay Scale  :  PB-3 (Rs. 15,600 – 39,100) with    AGP Rs. 6000

Age Limit :  Fresh appointment beyond the age of 60 years is discouraged except in the case of faculty with exceptionally brilliant research career and with on-going or approved externally funded research project.

Application Fee  :  Each application must be accompanied by non-refundable Application Fee of  Rs.1500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Only) for UR and OBC applicants.
