Assistant Professor (Regular basis)

Subject : (i) Economics, (ii) English and (iii) Philosophy

Assistant Professor (Ad-hoc basis)

Subject  : (i) Assamese, (ii) Economics, (iii) English, (iv) Education, (v) Philosophy and (vi) Sociology

Rupnagar, Guwahati Campus

Assistant Professor (Regular basis)

Subject : (i) Performing Arts (Dance, Music and Drama) and (ii) Yogic Science & Naturopathy;

Qualification :  (i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University. (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or Ph.D. Degree (under the New Regulations). Candidates having both NET and Ph.D. shall be preferred. (iii) In case of Performing Arts the candidates shall have Master’s Degree in Performing Arts with specialisation in Dance/Music/Drama (Theatre Art). (iv) In case of Assistant Professor (Ad-hoc basis) the requirement of NET shall be relaxed: However, NET qualified candidates shall be given preference.

Salary :

Assistant Professor (Regular basis) : Rs. 30,000/- p.m. (consolidated)

Assistant Professor (Ad-hoc basis) : Rs. 15,000/- p.m. (consolidated).
