Assistant Professor (Health Economics) recruitment in National Institute of Health & Family
Welfare (NIHFW) on regular basis
Assistant Professor (Health Economics) /1 Post (Reserved for ST)
Educational and other qualifications Essential: 1) Good academic record with at least 50% marks in Master’s degree in Economics/Social Sciences from a recognized University / Institution. 2) A doctoral degree in Economics/Social Sciences from a recognized University / Institution. Desirable: 1) Experience in the field of Health and Family Welfare.
Scale of pay (pre-revised): Rs.15600-39100+AGP 6000
Age limit: Upto 35 years (relaxable upto 5 years for govt. servants and employees of Autonomous Institutes under Govt.)
Assistant Professor (Bio-Medical Research)/1 post (Reserved for SC)
Essential - For Medical :1) Medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. 2) Postgraduate degree in Surg./Med./Obst. & Gynae./ or equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institution. 3) At least 3 years teaching/training/research experience as Demonstrator/Tutor /Registrar/Resident in the Medicine Surgery, Obst./Gynae.
Essential – For Non-Medical
Essential: 1) Good academic record with at least 50% marks in Master's degree in Physiology, Zoology or Biochemistry with specialization in Reproductive Endocrinology from a recognized University/Institution. 2) Doctoral degree in Physiology/Zoology/Biochemistry/ Male contraception/ Reproductive Endocrinology.
Scale of pay (pre-revised): Rs.15600-39100+AGP 6000 + NPA (for Medical)
Age limit: Upto 35 years
10. Assistant Professor (Statistics & Demography)/ 2 posts (1UR & 1 OBC against leave vacancy, on contractual basis).
Essential: 1) Good academic record with at least 50% marks in Master’s degree in Statistics or Demography or Mathematics with Statistics from a recognized University / Institution. 2) A doctoral degree in any branch of Statistics / Demography / Mathematics with Statistics from a recognized University / Institute. Desirable: 1) Experience in the field of Health and Family Welfare.

11. Assistant Professor (RBM-Clinic)/2 Posts (1 UR & 1 OBC)
Educational and other qualifications Essential: 1) Medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Desirable: Experience in the field of health and family welfare.
