Assistant Professor job opportunities in National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE)

Qualification  : Ph.D. with First Class at the preceding degree in relevant discipline with an excellent academic record throughout. Those who have submitted their PhD thesis and are expecting the final defense to be completed before Friday, the 28th of February, 2020 may also apply.

Pay : 

Grade II -  Level 10 (Entry pay Rs. 70,900)

Grade II -  Level 11 (Entry pay Rs. 73,100)

Grade I - Level 12 (Entry pay Rs. 101,500)

Age Limit :   Preferably under 35 years as on 17.01.2020. Age may be relaxed in respect of outstanding candidates with evidence of academic excellence.

Selection Process :  The areas of specialization and the post/level applied-for will be taken into account while short listing. Short listing criteria may vary for different posts and levels. Eligible candidates will be called for technical presentation and interview as per the recommendations of the Screening Committee. The candidate shall produce a valid ID proof, without which he/she will not be allowed to make presentation or attend the interview. It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in person for Technical Presentation and interview. The candidate must also bring original certificates or letters for verification before the technical presentation. In case of applicants residing abroad, the Institute will try and provide facility of Technical Presentation and Interview through video conferencing. However, this is available at their own risk as the Institute shall not be held responsible for any technical issue such as poor internet connectivity.
