Qualification :
1.Good academic
record with at least 55% marks at Master degree level in the relevant subject
or an equivalent grace in the 7 point scale with letter grades 0,A,B,C,D,E,
& F at the Masters Degree in tie concernod abject.
2.Candidates
should have cleared the eligibility test NET/SET for Asstt. Prof. conducted by
UGC/CSIR/Universty recognized by UGC. However, candidates who are or have been
awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the Unversity Grams Commission (Minimum
Standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree Regulation 2009} in the
concerned subjects as incorporated in the relevant Goa University Ordnance
shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
In case candidates having passed the said eligibility test or possessing Ph D.
in the concerned subject are not available or not found suitable. candidates
fulfilling other conditions would be considered for appointment on purely
temporary basis tiff the and of academic year.
Pay Scales : For
the post of Assstant Professor pay scale is as prescribed by Goa
University/UGC/Goa Government from time to time.
