Assistant Professor (Stage-I) (Aquatic Animal Health Management) under the College of Fisheries, Roha.
Essential qualifications: Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries. Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s degree level in the discipline of Aqutic Animal Health Management from an Indian university or a foreign university.
Pay Scale :Rs. 15,600-Rs. 39, 100
Jr. Scientist (Agric. Engineering)/ No of Post: 01
Essential qualifications:Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering. Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s degree level in the disciplines of Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil & Water Conservation from an Indian university or a foreign university.
Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET). NET is not required for disciplines in which NET is not conducted. NET is waived for candidates with Ph.D. degree, provided such degree is obtained under course credit system in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree, 2009 Regulation)and the candidate has at least two full length publications having NAAS rating not less than 4, on the last date of submission of application. NET requirement is not mandatory for the discipline of Agric. Engineering.
Desirable :M.Tech in Soil Water Conservation Engineering.
Pay Scale :Rs. 15,600-Rs. 39, 100
Age limit as on 01.01.2018 : (i) 44 (Forty four) years (maximum) for Assistant Professor/Jr. Scientist. The age is relaxable by the number of full years of service rendered in AAU/ICAR/CSIR/DST/SAUs and other Govt. Institutions up to a maximum of 5(five) years as supported by the relevant documents.(ii) For the post of Associate Dean, maximum age bar will be 60 years.
For the posts of Assistant Professor and equivalent, candidates from the State of Assam should only apply. They need to be the permanent resident of Assam.
