Assistant Professor/Lab Assistant recruitment in State University Of Performing & Visual Arts, Rohtak on contractual basis
Assistant Professor
Painting
Qualifications: i. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/ Foreign University ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualification, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Text (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC. Notwithstanding anything contained in the sub-clauses (i) and (ii) to this Clause 4.4.2.3, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with University Grants Commission (Minimum standards and procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions. iii. Without prejudice to the above, NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted. iv. One year experience is desirable.

Five years of experience of holding regular regional/ National exhibitions/ Workshops with evidence; and 3. Ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject concerned and adequate knowledge to teach theory with illustrations in that discipline

OR (i) A professional designer with highly commendable professional achievement in the concerned subject, who should have: 1. 3 years Diploma or Bachelors Degree from a recognized University/Institute of India/Abroad in the field of Design; 2. Five years Industrial/Professional/teaching experience in the field of Design for a person holding 4 years regular diploma and 6 year for a person holding 3 years regular diploma. 3. Ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject concerned and adequate knowledge to teach theory with illustrations in that discipline.

Sound Studio /(02) Post
Qualifications: Minimum 10+2 and diploma in Sound recording from any recognized Institute with at least 2 years experience of working in sound studio as recordist (should have the working experience with Protools or equivalent workstation & location recording with professional Recorder). OR Graduate in any discipline with at least 5 years of experience of working in sound studio as recordist (should have the working experience with Protools or equivalent workstation & location recording with professional recorder).
