No. of Vacancies : 4 (Dravyaguna Vigyan, ST-01), (Kayachikitsa, OBC(Delhi)-01), (Kayachikitsa, SC-01), (Kayachikitsa, UR-01)
Qualifications : 1). A degree in Ayurveda from a University established by law or statutory Board/Faculty/ Examinations body of Indian medicine or its equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970. 2). A Post Graduate qualification in the subject/specialty concerned included in the schedule to Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970. B)
Desirable : 1) Patent/copyright obtained as individual/team. 2) Research work and publication in peer reviewed journals. 3) Ph.D
Pay Scale : PB-III 15,600- 39,100+ GP 5400 + NPA
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years (age relaxation beyond 35 years shall be given to reserved category candidates as per rules of GNCT of Delhi).
Application Fees : Rs. 5000/- (Rupees five thousand only) for general candidates and Rs. 1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) for reserved category candidates, in the form of Demand Draft in favor of Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan, payable at New Delhi. About Company
Delhi had four Ayurved colleges before independence,when its; population was 3 Lacs. But those colleges ceased functioning over the period of; time and till the year 2008 AD, there was only a single Ayurved College namely, Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbia College. Sometimes in the; year 1995, it was decided by the Govt. of NCT Delhi to set up an Institute-cum-Hospital in Naturopathy/Homoeopathy. By this time, the population; is about one crore.;After the establishment of Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy in; 1996, a plan was prepared to establish an institute named as “Delhi Rajkiya Ayurved Charak Sansthan’’and Ninety-five acres of land was acquired at Khera Dabar, Najafgarh, Delhi-110073 in the year 1997.
