Assistant Professor/Programme Assistant recruitment in Punjab Agricultural University

 

Assistant Professor (Genetics)

Qualification : i) B.Sc.(Agri.)/B.Sc.(Hort.)/B.Sc. (Forestry)/B.Sc.(Medical)/B.Sc.(Biotechnology). ii) Masters degree in Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Genetics. iii) Atleast Second division at Bachelor level and 65% marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 at Maser’s level. iv) Must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant discipline conducted by ASRB/UGC/CSIR with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refereed journal and equivalent. v) Must have passed Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized board (as first or second language)

 

Assistant Soil Chemist

Qualification : i) B.Sc.(Agri.)/B.Sc(Hort)/B.Sc(Forestry)/B.Sc ii) Masters degree in Soil Science with specialization in Soil Fertility/Chemistry. iii) Atleast Second division at Bachelor level and 65% marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 at Maser’s level. iv) Must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant discipline conducted by ASRB/UGC/CSIR with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refereed journal and equivalent. v) Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized board (as first or second language). If not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment.

 

Assistant Professor (Plant Pathology)

Qualification : i) B.Sc. (Agri.)/B.Sc. (Hort.)/B.Sc (Forestry)/B.Sc. Programme Assistant (Computer)

Qualification :1. Graduate in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Computer Application OR Masters in Computer Application 2. Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric.

Age : 18-37 Yrs

 

Programme Assistant (Lab Technician)

Qualification : 1. B.Sc. (Agri) (Hons)/B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Sc (Med.)/BVSc from the recognized university. 2. Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric standard

Pay Scale : Rs.9300- 34800

Age : 18 - 37 years.

 

Beldars (at outstations) in the pay scale of - grade pay.

Qualification : i) Matriculation ii) Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level. iii) Two years’ experience as Field/ Lab.Helper in the relevant field. Or Five years experience as Junior Field /Lab. Helper in the relevant field. Or Worked for 10 years as DPL in the relevant field

Pay Scale : Rs. 4440-7440+1300
