Essential :

3. Endocrinology

Essential :

a. 4. Experimental Medicine & Biotechnology

FOR MEDICAL:

Essential :

a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.).

b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Medicine/Clinical Biochemistry/ Medical Microbiology/ Pathology/ Human Physiology) and Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/ Pathology/ Physiology/Human Genetics / Immunology of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post.

c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience: 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the relevant field after obtaining the degree of MD. No additional experience in case of DM.

FOR NON-MEDICAL:

a. Postgraduate qualification i.e. M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Human Genetics/Immunology & Immunogenetics, from a recognised University/Institution as regular course recognized by UGC or equivalent.

b. Ph.D degree in the concerned discipline/subject of an Indian University/Institute or its equivalent Ph.D. Degree from a foreign University/Institute recognised by the University Grants Commission.

Experience: 03 years teaching and/or sustained research activity in Cellular and Molecular aspects of Human Diseases after obtaining Ph.D.

 

5 i. Gastroenterology (including 01 for Neuro)

Essential :

a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.).

b. A Postgraduate qualification of an Indian University i.e. DM Gastroenterology or an equivalent degree recognized as such by Medical Council of India.

c. The candidate must be registered with the State/Central Medical Council.

Experience : 1 year teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the field of Gastroenterology after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM. Note: Candidates with DM degree of 3 years, no experience is required.

Desirable: Teaching and/or research experience in the field of NeuroGastroenterology and Motility.

ii. Gastroenterology (Community)

Essential :

a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.).

b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Community Medicine/Social & Preventive Medicine) or MD (Medicine/Pediatrics) or DM (Gastroenterology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.

c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience : 3 year teaching and research experience in a recognised Institution in the subject of Speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD. No additional experience after DM Gastroenterology.

1 year teaching and research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree in case of 2 years DM course.

 

6. General Surgery

Essential :

a. Experience : 3 year teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS.

 

7. Hepatology

Essential :

b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. DM Hepatology/ Gastroenterology/ Pediatric Hepatology of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.

c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. EXPERIENCE No additional experience required.

Desirable: 6 months experience in Hepatology for candidates with DM Gastroenterology qualification.

Note: 1 year teaching and research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM in case of 2 years DM course.

 

8. Histopathology

Essential :

a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.).

b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Pathology) or DM (Histopathology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.

c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience : 3 year teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution after obtaining the degree of MD or No additional Experience required after DM Histopathology.

 

9. Hospital Administration

Essential :

a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.).

b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MD in Hospital Administration of Indian University/Institute or MHA of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.

c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

d. MHA of two years should have one year additional experience in Hospital Administration.

Experience : 3 year teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution in the subject of Hospital Administration after acquiring the essential qualifications.

 

10. Internal Medicine

Essential :

a. 13. Neurosurgery

Essential :

c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

However, no additional experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of M.Ch or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

 

14. Nuclear Medicine

Essential :

a. 20. Renal Transplant Surgery

Essential

a. Experience : 3 years teaching and research experience in the Transplant Surgery after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS (General Surgery). 1 year teaching and research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch in case of 2 years M.Ch course. 21. Urology

Essential

a. 22. Psychiatric Social Work (NM)

a. Master‟s degree (regular course recognised by UGC or equivalent) in Social Work or Psychiatric Social Work and M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work (2 years full time course from a Psychiatry Department/Institution.

b. Ph.D degree in the concerned discipline/subject of an Indian University/Institute or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Experience : 03 years teaching and / or research experience in the discipline concerned after obtaining the Ph.D. Degree.

 

23. Psychiatry Clinical Psychology (NM)

Essential

a. Master‟s degree (regular course recognised by UGC or equivalent) in Psychology and M.Phil in Clinical Psychology (2 years full time course done from a Psychiatry Department/Institute).

b. Ph.D degree in the concerned discipline/subject of an Indian University/Institute or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Experience : 03 years teaching and / or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Ph.D. Degree

 

24. CSIC (Biomedical Engg. & Innovation)

Essential

a. Ph.D after obtaining M.Tech/M.E. in Biomedical Engineering.

Experience 03 years experience in the field of Biomedical Engineering post – Ph.D.

Desirable Experience:- Experience in any Central Instrumentation facility of a large Institute.
