To self Maharajadhiraj Dr. As a result of the magnificent generosity of Sar Kameshwar Singh and then the governor of Bihar state, Dr. Zakir Hussain and the then Chief Minister Bihar Kesari Dr. The Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit was adjudged as the Vishvavidyalay Act, 1960 (Bihar Act VI of 1960) by the court of Sri Krishna Singh. At present, the operation of this University is being updated according to the Bihar State Universities Act, 1976 (Bihar Act XXIII of 1976) and the rules, regulations, ordinances, rules and instructions issued under this Act. Recognized by the University Grants Commission and subscribed to A. I. U. to this University from NAAC in the first cycle from 2006 to 2011. Until the B ++ grade was received and in the second cycle 2016 to 2021 AD. Up to 2.70 'B' grade is obtained with CGPA.
