Assistant Professors Job Opportunity At University of Calicut on contract basis

Specialisations Required:

1. One post specialised for talented in audio-visual production in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.

2. Theoretical Physics/Chemistry/Nano Science with ample experience in Quantum Mechanics/Material Physics or Chemistry in the Department of Nano Science and Technology

3. One post specialised in Russian and four in Comparative literature in the Department of Russian and Comparative Literature

4. Specialisation in Theatre Music, Costume & Make up, Mime & Movement, Lighting, New Media in Theatre and Music in the School of Drama and Fine Arts

Note: Eligibility for selection as Assistant Professor on contract basis in the Nano Science:

1. Ph.D in Nano Science/Nanotechnology with Masters in Physics or Chemistry

2. Ph.D in Physics or Chemistry with research experience in Nano Science/Nanotechnology.

Qualification required: Minimum qualification prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor in the UGC Amended Regulations 2014. In the absence of qualified candidates, those without minimum qualifications, but with 55% marks at Masters Degree will also be considered. The Assistant Professors on contract basis with minimum qualification prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor shall be eligible for a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 42,000/- per month. Assistant Professors on contract basis without minimum qualifications, but with 55% marks at Masters Degree are eligible for a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25000/- per month.
