Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh intends to fill up the vacant posts of Assistant Professors in different specialities purely on contract basis for running the proposed temporary OPD of PGIMER Satellite Centre at Una, Himachal Pradesh through walk-in-interview

Qualification :

OHSC :  a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. M.D.S. in the concerned dental speciality of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Dental Council of India or recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Dental Council/DCI.

Experience :  3 years teaching and research experience in the specialty concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree i.e. MDS in the speciality

ENT :  a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS (Otolaryngology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience :  3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree of MS.

Ophthalmology : a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/MS (Ophthalmology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience :  3 years teaching and research experience in a recognised Institution in the subject of Speciality after obtaining the degree of MS.

Obstetrics & Gynaecology :  a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/MS (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience :  3 years teaching and research experience in a recognised Institution in the subject of Speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.

Internal Medicine :  a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Internal Medicine) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience :  3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.

Orthopaedics :  a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. M.S (Orthopaedics) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience :  3 years teaching and research experience in a recognised Institution in the subject of Speciality after obtaining the degree of MS.

Paediatrics :  a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Pediatrics) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Experience :  3 years teaching and research experience in a recognised Institution in the subject of Speciality after obtaining the degree of MD.

Remuneration to be paid :  Rs. 1 lakhs

Age Limit :  The age limit is upto 50 years
