Job Description
Assistant Professors Social Science recruitment in National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand on contract basis
Assistant Professors (Grade-I): * Engineering: Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering Computer Science & Engineering Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering .
Non-Engineering :Mathematics, Social Science, Economics, English, Physics, Chemistry.
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. Relevant .
Experience: 03 years after Ph.D. or 06 years total teaching and research experience in reputed academic Institute / R&D Labs / relevant industry
No.of Posts: 38 (03 posts for PWD) **
Pay Scale: Pay Level 12 as per 7th CPC alongwith allowances admissible as per Institute norms. Basic Pay: Rs.1,01,500

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Uttarakhand is one among the ten newly sanctioned NITs in 2009 by Government of India under the 11th five year plan. The Institute is fully funded by Government of India under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Presently, NIT Uttarakhand is carrying out its activities from its temporary campus at Government Polytechnic, Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand. A new temporary campus is also functional at old ITI Campus near Government Polytechnic. Presently the Institute is running full time B. Tech. Program in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering with intake of 60 students in each branch.
