Job Description
- Position
- Educate players on prohibited medicines/substances and methods according to Prohibited List issued by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
- Conduct seminar/clinic/workshop for players and their supporting staff to educate them on drug abuse and their side effects on human body.
- Settle the general queries of players and supporting staff on use or non-use of prescribed medicines.
- Guide the players on permitted medicines available over the counter in India.
- Develop Information, Education and Communication (IEC) material for players and supporting staff.
- Liaise with Anti-Doping Commission, Hearing Panel and TUE Committee constituted for the players.
- Update anti-doping contents and information on the official website.
- Adhere and implement the Anti-Doping Policy in true spirit, enacted for the players and supporting staff.
- Maintain Level Playing Field for fair and equal chance of success to all players.
- Any other allied work assigned by the authorities from time to time.
- Ability to communicate effectively and substantially with players and authorities.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Good orator with eloquent skills.
- Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
- Experience of 2 years in Pharmacology
- The selected candidate, if has no experience in anti-doping/doping control field will be imparted training, and will work under supervision of seniors.
The position is to implement anti-doping/doping control policy for Professional Golf Players in India. The selected candidate will be appointed on the pay roll of Apex Anti Doping Management Services; and will be placed in the office of Professional Golf at Gurgaon (India).
