Assistant Security Officer
Job Description
Graduate from recognized University - Certified fire training course (preferred)
Function: Security
Reporting to Security Officer
- At least 1 – 2 years in Industrial Security Operations
- CTC 6-6.5 L P A
- Should be an ex-armed forces person (JCO cadre or equivalent)
- Upper Age Limit – 50 years
- Ensure adherence/implementation of security measures and guidelines at the factory unit
- Patrol the factory premises on a regular basis to ensure adherence/compliance to safety and security guidelines
- Ensure Factory Standing Orders and safe work practices are complied with
- Ensure robust monitoring and controls on incoming and outgoing materials
- Ensure statutory norms w.r.t. to Employee services providers’ entry and exit into factory are complied with
- Conduct Weekly Fire Drills and special fire training for all employees in the Factory, as per prescribed guidelines
- Conduct regular checks on compliance to fire safety guidelines in the Factory and conduct periodic Fire Safety/EHS audits of designated areas
- Build and maintain a good relationship with various individuals and agencies in the external environment that have a bearing on the smooth functioning of the establishment
