Assistant/Sr. Stenographer recruitment in Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) purely on contract/temporary basis
1. Assistant (General) Grade lll, Group ‘C’/03 (02-UR) (01 SC-This post is initially for CSIO Chennai Centre)
Qualification: 10+2/Xll or its equivalent from recognized Board and typing speed on computer of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi***.
Pay Scale :Rs. 5200-20200
Upper Age Limit not exceeding (as on 13.11.2017): 28 yrs
2. Sr. Stenographer Group ’B’ /01 (OBC)*
Qualification: Graduation or its equivalent from recognized University/Institute and speed of 100 w.p.m. in shorthand and typing speed on computer of 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi****
Age: 28 years
Pay Scale :Rs. 9300-34,800
Desirable Qualification & Experience for posts of Assistant (General) Grade lll A Graduate Degree with working knowledge of Computers using MS Office and typewriting skills in English & Hindi both.
Selection Procedure: Assistant (G) Grade III: The selection will be made based on the written test, typing test on computer. The written test will be conducted for those who are found eligible by the Screening Committee and shortlisted based on the criteria fixed by the duly constituted Screening Committee of the Institute and number of posts to be filled. The written test will be consisting of General Knowledge and General English/General Hindi.
Sr. Stenographer: The selection will be made based on the performance in the shorthand test (Shorthand & Transcription) and qualifying typing test on computer. The Shorthand Test will be conducted for those who are shortlisted based on the criteria fixed by the duly constituted Screening Committee of the Institute and number of posts to be filled. Merit list of selection will be drawn based on the performance in Shorthand test (Shorthand Transcription) and qualifying typing test on computer.
Application Fee: The non-refundable fee for online application is Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) for General/OBC candidates. The fee is to be deposited directly in any branch of State Bank of India into the Power Jyoti Account Number 33004547024 [maintained at State Bank of India, Sector 30-C, Chandigarh].
