Job Description
Key Responsibilities and Skills
Data Analysis & Modeling: Using tools like SQL, Python, and VBA to build and analyze actuarial models.
Reserving & Pricing: Assisting in determining financial liability reserves and setting product prices.
Reporting: Preparing risk reports and financial forecasts for senior management.
Collaboration: Working alongside underwriters and risk managers to manage insurance risk.
Education and Qualifications
Degree: Bachelor's (64%) or Master's (25%) in Math, Stats, Finance, or Actuarial Science.
Exams: Progress toward an Associate designation (e.g., ASA/ACAS) is essential.
Experience: Often 0–2+ years of experience in actuarial modelling or risk management.
