Job Description
What You'll Do At Pega
Responsible for handling all PROD support activities including but not limited to –
Infra monitoring/support work with IT, Cloud (AWS) and Dev and PROD Mgmt Monitor Backend jobs and keep checking health of the system(App Nodes, DB) and take appropriate actions needed pro-actively Monitor the application performance, User experience and share observations, potential improvement details with development team.
Perform proactive maintenance activities and ensuring the stability of the applications

Who You Are
- Should have 10 to 15 years of experience on Enterprise software lifecycle, development and operations.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills and come up with RCA quickly.
- Readiness to work in 24X7 environment.
- Should be able to mentor the Engineers and guide them with respect to Prod.Support and make them understand to build ZERO maintenance features.
- Follow the platform release guidelines and take care applications upgrade process effectively.
- Good to have experience on Software Products and application implementations by using the Products.
- Preferable Peag skills/Pega Administrators
- Knowledge of IT architecture / infrastructure, Agile methodologies
- Technical Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.
- 10-15 years’ experience in production support environment, preferably java-based application.
- Experience & working knowledge of OS [Linux, Windows] / Web Server [Tomcat, IIS, Apache] / Database / Networking.
- Experience in java based applications as a support Lead (L1,L2)
- Good Experience in Oracle and PostgreSQL with respect to Performance tuning at DBV levels – Indexing, Query tuning, DB Storage optimization techniques etc.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Amazon web services and Cloud Infra and operations
