Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Project Support: Assist in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, roads, drainage systems, and other infrastructure projects.
Site Supervision: Visit project sites to monitor progress, ensure adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and address on-site issues with guidance from senior engineers.
Design & Drafting: Use engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, Civil 3D) to prepare 2D/3D models, technical drawings, and structural layouts.
Estimation & Costing: Assist in preparing project estimates, quantity take-offs (BOQs), and cost analysis based on architectural and structural drawings.
Quality Control: Help ensure quality standards by monitoring construction activities and materials, and conducting basic material testing under supervision.
Documentation: Maintain project records, site reports, daily logs, and assist in preparing reports, drawings, and presentations for clients or authorities.
Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, vendors, and government bodies for smooth project execution and compliance with regulations.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines applicable to project execution.
Problem Solving: Identify and report issues or risks during the construction process and provide technical input for timely resolution.
