Job Description
Associate Engineer
Knowledge of 2D pattern drawing by extracting surface data from 3D models
Knowledge of PLM tool -Teamcenter, SAP
Knowledge of Analysis Tools (ANSYS) is desired
Proficiency in Microsoft Office â Word, Excel, and Presentation
Non-Technical
Good Communication Skills (written and Oral)
Team Player and Interpersonal skill to work with the cross-functional product development team
Knowledge of surface modeling and advanced assembly (Large CAD data handling, Issue Resolution)
Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work for customers
Problem-solving skills
Knowledge of New Product Development and Engineering Change Management Process
Sound Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals and experience in hand-calculations
Knowledge of machine design, materials, and manufacturing processes
Ability to read, understand and create technical drawings, sketches
Knowledge of creating design documentation - System-level or component-level test plans, conducting tests and writing test reports
Knowledge of tools/fixtures design and fabrication is desired.
Knowledge of GD&T (ASME 14.5).
Knowledge of CAD application â Catia or UG NX
