Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Engineer to join our engineering team. This entry- to mid-level role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with 0–3 years of experience who are looking to gain hands-on technical experience, support engineering projects, and contribute to design, testing, and implementation efforts.
The Associate Engineer will work under the guidance of senior engineers and managers to assist in product development, system analysis, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and various project support tasks. The ideal candidate should have a solid technical foundation, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support and Project Assistance:

Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring engineering projects under the supervision of a senior engineer.

Provide support in the preparation of designs, specifications, engineering reports, and project documentation.

Conduct basic calculations, simulations, and design reviews to support engineering tasks.

Collect and analyze technical data for use in the design and development of products or systems.
2. CAD and Drafting Work (if applicable):

Create or modify detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.

Collaborate with design and drafting teams to prepare layouts, schematics, and manufacturing drawings.

Maintain drawing revisions and ensure that documentation complies with standards and internal procedures.
3. Testing and Troubleshooting:

Assist in the setup and execution of tests for prototypes, systems, or equipment.

Record and analyze test results, identify problems, and suggest modifications or improvements.

Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during the production or deployment stages.
4. Quality and Compliance Support:

Help ensure that engineering processes and products meet quality, safety, and industry standards.

Contribute to documentation and audit trails required for regulatory compliance or customer requirements.

Assist in preparing process documentation, SOPs, or risk assessments related to the engineering function.
5. Coordination and Communication:

Communicate project progress, task status, and potential issues to senior engineers and managers.

Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, quality assurance, and procurement.

Interact with vendors or clients when required, under supervision, to gather information or clarify specifications.
6. Continuous Learning and Skill Development:

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, software tools, and technologies relevant to the engineering field.

Actively participate in training sessions or development programs provided by the organization.
