About this role Job is crucial as it involves Planning/design of transmission for the various ongoing and new customer projects. Upgrade or re-design of existing Transmission Networks to support the congestion programme. The role holder is principally responsible for: Planning and provisioning of 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G Circuits. Prepare BOM and BOQ Assist with site design, transmission plans for NTQ sites. Planning and design of new or upgrade existing BT Ethernet Hubs to support new or congested sites. Planning activities for SDH/PDH/Ethernet microwave into Ethernet hubs to support the various ongoing and new programmes. Planning activities for TDM/ATM leased bandwidth links with various OLO

You'll have the following responsibilities Accountable for:

End to end accurate and latest circuit mapping for all technologies in Circuit Manager.

Assist with site design, ordering, deployment transmission plans for NTP3 & NTQ sites.

Re-route of sites due to Transmission link failures & LOS problem.

Planning of Transmission solutions to support special events, temp sites.

IP Planning, assignment and record updated.

Resolving IP clashes logged during migration within OLA.

Keeping all tools up to date with records for 2G, 3G and 4G nodes.

Ensuring all site access and outage permits in place before migration.

Ensuring circuit packs are shared with field engineers before migration as per agreed OLA.

Ensuring RFA packs contains all evidence of migration from U200, SIAE/NEC/ETL NMS, QoS and GQ date.

Good Communication Skills

Experience :

Excellent background gained in a telecoms

Strong experience & knowledge SDH/Ethernet/Fiber/Microwave network Planning

Proven success in delivery of technical projects

Practical experience / understanding of an operational network environment, ability to understand and foresee

risks, problems & issues from a technical and operational perspective.

Good knowledge of Cramer, Apollo, Circuit Manager, Nemesis, IQ Link, NRM, Map Info, Google Earth, Grid Finder etc.

Vendor Transmission equipment (MW – Nokia, Nec, Siae + Ericsson)

Vendor Base Station equipment (Huawei, Nokia + Ericsson)

OLO Vendor equipment (BT and VM)

B.Tech in Electronics and Communication
