The Associate Financial Analyst - Finance Centre of Excellence will be based in Chennai.
fCOE “Finance Centre of Excellence” is the analytics wing of Corporate and Business Group finance functions with specialized services spanning across Innovative Analytics, Research & Data Mining, FinTech, Predictive analytics and Finance process improvements. fCOE is to provide insightful information to the finance business partners to make constructive decisions, support to standardize the finance process and systems.

- Around 2-4 years of experience in accounting & finance covering accounting, reporting, and analysis.
- Knowledge on Lease Accounting
- Good Analytical and independent problem-solving skills
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with large data sets, complex pivot / data tables, and Excel macros and formulae.
- Strong team player and willingness to adapt in fast-paced work environment.
- Open and flexible to any shift.
- Responsible for management reporting and analysis and providing insights to the finance leadership to make financial decisions.
- Prepare daily, monthly and quarterly executive management reports, reconciliations, and analytics.
- Ensure consistency, timeliness and accuracy of meaningful insight.
- Have strong desire and high energy to learn, adapt, and work on state-of-the-art accounting and techniques, methods, and processes.
- Actively participate and contribute in fCOE workstreams besides regular deliverables.
- Identify, recommend, and implement internal process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. Postgraduates in a quantitative discipline (ideally MBA)
- Technical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. BPC, VBA, SharePoint, Tableau, and/or ThoughtSpot a plus.
- Good understanding of accounting standards (US GAAP).
- Knowledge / experience in Data Analytics / Data Science would be an added advantage.
