Job Description:
- Assets capitalization, disposals & retirements as per Ind As and US GAAP
- Review of all CWIP balances to ensure balances are genuine & projects under work in progress with the business sign-off for audit justification and to avoid delay in capitalization.
- Strenghtening the BS review process with more emphasis on aged balances
- Responsible for timely closure of books for the month with a comprehensive approach of the financials
- Month end closure, reco and reporting.
- Ensuring accuracy of numbers with respect to accounting and analysis
- Co-ordinating for physical verification of assets on a yearly basis required as part of CARO reporting
- Integrating other entities of Flipkart to bring centralization of systems and processes
- Working with different teams for smooth closure of open items.
