Associate Hadoop Administrator
Location: Pune, India
Experience: 3+ years
Number of Positions: 6
Must have:
- 2+ years of Linux and entry level Hadoop, System administration
- Should have done CM and CDH upgrades
- Should have knowledge of yarn jobs, Hive and Impala queries
- Experience in large enterprise where they are exposed to technologies like virtualization, private clouds, physical servers, administering servers
- for apps and DB, understands scalability
- The interest, ability, curiosity to tinker and automate everything in a repeatable fashion with the least amount of manual work involved
- Should be willing to work in 24x7 rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Preferred to have an understanding of:
- Public cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, GCP
- Scripting background (bash, python etc.)
Education: BE/B.Tech. from reputed institute
