Job Description : The candidate will receive in-service training as a Poison Information Specialist. Following this training they would function on the 'Poison information service' to receive phone calls through the phone help line from the public and doctors regarding acute toxic exposures. The poison information specialist would provide necessary information , document the toxic exposure, consult with the toxicologist and follow up with the caller. They would maintain a poison database and also be involved in public education.
