Job Description
As an Associate Software Engineer specializing in DevOps, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations to enhance the software delivery lifecycle. With two years of experience, your primary focus will be on automating deployment pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions that improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.
Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline the building, testing, and deployment of software applications.
Manage and scale cloud infrastructure components using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Monitor system performance and application health using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack to ensure high availability.
Collaborate with developers to containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate services via Kubernetes.
Troubleshoot and resolve environment-related issues across development, staging, and production tiers.
Implement security best practices within the DevOps pipeline to ensure code integrity and infrastructure protection.
Assist in the automation of routine operational tasks to reduce manual intervention and human error.
Document technical processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides for team knowledge sharing.
Participate in on-call rotations and respond to system alerts to maintain 24/7 service uptime.
Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to continuously improve the internal development platform.
