Job Description

1. Post: Associate – Stores

2. Responsibilities:

a. Ensures adherence to rules/procedures in stores in areas of receipt, issue, dispatch and disposal. Maintain adequate stock level in store

b. Communicate with operations, purchase departments to ensure smooth movement of goods in/out of ICRISAT, Coordinates with Senior Officer to ensure seamless flow of material in and out of stores

c. Interface with supplier for receipt, loading, unloading of stock. Ensure timely Physical Asset Verification

d. Maintain safety and hygiene inside the store. Ensure proper maintenance of stock

e. All records pertaining to assets and stock are maintained meticulously

3. Requirements:

a. Bachelor’s Degree in Stores Management or a related field with a minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience in Warehousing / Food Stores in a reputed organization

b. Should have worked in a similar role in the past

c. Excellent verbal and written Communication

d. Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures

e. Working knowledge of ERP software is a must
