Associate - Strategy/Investment Jobs in Mumbai - Axience

Description of the Role

• Axience is hiring a highly quilified CA/CFA + MBA (or equivalent from top tier) for a role helping one of our key conglomerate client to support in management of operational and financial investments
• The role is based in Mumbai supporting our global client (one in particular) and developing our family office offerings as well as beyond
• Responsibility will include but not limited to
• - Supporting VP of Investment and Strategy in various senior level and board level analysis and presentation related to startegy of operational companies and investments in new opportunities
• - Conducting desktop due diligence, financial modeling and valuation of new investment opportunities
• - Monitoring of investments, reporting
• - Managing an analyst to support finance function of conglomerate

Support highly reputable client of Axience in Due Diligence of VC/PE investments in global markets

· The opportunity is like working at the family office (~.5 BN USD operational and investment assets) while being based in India; opportunity also provide exposure to other areas of Axience business

Technical Requirements

·  Tier 1 Education (Rank Holder CA + CFA/Tier 1 MBA)

·  Prior experience in VC Investments Analysis/Due Diligence at a Boutique VC Fund/Family Office/Management Consultancies/Investment Banks/Outsourcing companies

·  Able to support in developing capital allocation policy for the investment portfolio

·  Able to support in rationalizing and review of a portfolio of companies based on returns, historical trends, industry trends and benchmarking

· Able to analyze and recommend portfolio composition in terms of what to keep and what to exit

· Highly energetic, no-nonsense, non-bureaucratic and inquisitive mind-set; passionate and intellectually curious about technology and start-ups

· Strong analytical and communication skills; ideally a combination of a nerdy, fast learner with strong interpersonal skills. 

· Proven general aptitude, high attention to detail and intensity

· Is a driven self-starter and can work with little guidance, taking ownership
