Designation Assistant Manager (Operation) CHP /Total Vacancies 4(SC-1,ST-1,UR-2)

Qualification : Degree in Electrical Engineering/EEE /equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks.Min. Years of Experience 2-3 Years

Job Description : 2 -3 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. The candidate must have knowledge on Checking the healthiness of equipment of Coal handling plant through the field operators. Having adequate knowledge on daily routine checking of equipment protection before operation, Siren test before initiation of operation process. The incumbent will have responsibility for day to day collection of feedback from field operators of field equipments like Chute, Bunker & Gear boxes, Knowledge upon PLC Data input healthiness, Measurement of Bunker level and starting the feeding process. Knowledge on basic electrical protections and interlocks of Coal handling system.Also ensuring the EHS standards of the Organistion

8.Department O&M Grade E-1

Designation : Ash Pond (Asst. Manager)
/Total Vacancies 1-UR

Qualification : Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks. Min. Years of Experience 2-3 Years

Job Description : (2-3) Years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area of Govt./PSU or Private Company in repute. The candidate must have experience in a power plant of unit size not less than 210MW with a hand on experience of working in Ash pond area. The incumbent must have the adequate knowledge of raw water reservoir, Ash Dyke and barrage work. He should have good knowledge on O&M of Ash slurry pump, Ash water Pump. Adequate knowledge over maintenance and periodical inspection of dyke wall and Embankment etc. in a regular interval. Measurement of ash disposal level inside the ash ponds and other day to day work assigned to him.

13.Department O&M Grade E-1

Designation Assistant Manager
(Chemists)OPGC-II (2X660MW)/1- ST

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering / MSc in Chemistry with minimum 60% of marks. MBA in Environment Management will be preferred. Min. Years of Experience 2 - 3 Years

Job Description : 2 -3 years of post-qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. The candidate must have similar experience in a power plant of Unit size not less than 210MW and must have excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills. Must be conversant with CW/BCW/RW/ & chlorination/chemical treatment system, Steam-Water chemistry, Lube Oils and Lubricants, Flue Gas Analysis, Coal Quality Analysis, Stack emissions and Effluents treatment. Ability to resolve problems independently and operate efficiently under pressure. SAP Experience is an advantage.

- Housekeeping and General shift activities/ UR-1

Qualification : Degree in Electrical Engineering/EEE /equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks. Min. Years of Experience 2-3 Years

Job Description : 2-3 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt/PSU or Private company in repute. The candidate must have experience in CHP area of power plant. Having knowledge on housekeeping work inside the Coal handling plant area like: All equipment cleaning, Hoods and cladding covers cleaning, Responsible for debris cleaning from sump ,weigh bridge area and from the chutes. He should have the knowledge of Coal stockyard management. He should follow the QA & QC policy of the organisation ensuring the safety standard of OPGC.

Method of Selection :  Selection process will comprise of Telephonic Interview (if need be) and Personal Interview of shortlisted candidates.
