Asstt. Professor/01 post
Pay Scale: Rs. 60,000/- per month
1. One Asstt. Professor (contractual) for teaching of Paper Craft and one guest faculty for teaching of Urdu in the D/o Teacher Training & Non-Formal Education (IASE).
Qualification as rler NCTE nornls:- Foundation Courses A Master's Degree irr Science I Hurnanities / Arts with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed); M. Ed. With at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed); and Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC I any such affiliating body / State Government, from time to time for the positions of principal and lecturers, shall be marrdatory;
OR
M. A. in Education with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed); B. Ed. with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed); and Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC I any such affiliating body / State Government, from tirne to time for the positions of principal and lecturers, shall be mandatory.
Guest Facult/02 Post
Pay Scale: Rs. 1000/- per period subject to maximunr of Rs. 25,000/- per month
2. One guest faculty in the D/o English, Faculty of Humanities & Languages, JMI.
Qualifisttign for the above Post
i. Good acadernic record as defined by the concerned university rvith at least 55% marks (or an equivalerrt grade in a poirrt scale wherever grading systenr is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
iii. "The candidates registered for M.Phil./Ph.D. programme priorto July 11,2009 shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing ordinances bylaws/regulations of the Institutions awarding the degree and the Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Asstt. Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/lnstitutions subject to the fulfillment of the following sonditions: a) Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only; b) Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners; c) Open Ph.D. Viva Voce of the candidate had been conducted; d) Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one mnst be in a rel'ereed journal; e) Candidate has made at least two presentations in conferences/serninar, based on his/her Ph.D. work.. (a) to (e) as above are to be certified by the Vice-Chancellor/Pro-ViceChance I lor/Dean(Academ ic Affa irs) / Dean (U n ivers ity instructions). "
iv. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for whish NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
3. One guest faculty for teaching papers of HRM area in the Centre for Management Studies, JMI.
Qualification for the above post:
Essential: PhD first class Master of Business Administration / Manasement
Desirable:
1. Teaching, industrial and /or professional experience in reputed organization.
2. Research experience in the relevant field/ papers published in refereed journals.
