About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Engage in book scanning, editing (Kannada, English, Hindi and at times few other languages with assistance)
2. Work on conversion, editing and saving to different formats like audio, ePub & braille (Kannada, English, Hindi and at times few other languages with assistance)
3. Handle membership, distribution record maintenance
4. Handle library bookkeeping and volunteer management
5. Schedule and track books production and distribution
6. Proactively establish contacts with various organizations, schools, individuals and raise awareness around braille/audio books
7. Support various events at Mitra Jyothi
