Job Purpose: Audio Software Development for IVI platform & products

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Develop production ready software, following a defined software development process
• Analyse and identify requirements and specifications for translation into software designs
• Documentation for software designs, bug reports, and test plans
• Perform structured root-cause analysis on audio defects and implement targeted fixes
• Test software designs and code at the unit and system level, confirm that all requirements are met
• Be a team player, Work both independently and within large global teams
• Focus on quality system performance.
• Agile Methodologies during the entire software lifecycle
• Designing and developing Audio components and features for infotainment products
• Review and analyze requirements to create software designs
• Implementation of audio management, device drivers in C/C++
• Implementation of Audio Routing /Post processing framework in Linux and Android platforms
• Debug Audio issues in the system including open source software
• System profiling and analysis of Audio related issues.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Good in coding C/C++
• RTOS & OS (Linux/Android) experience
• Good problem solving skills and analytical thinking
• Embedded Hardware understanding, datasheet, schematics
• Knowledge of Audio & DSP concepts
• Knowledge of Audio measurement & tests, usage of tools
• Knowledge of Audio/Infotainment products
• Experience of configuration management & Defect management tools
